Given that this is a board book, I expected it to be simpler and better suited to young child. There are too many colors and too many words on each page to focus on the letter being featured. It's a super cute book, but NOT well suited for an alphabet book for a preschooler. I would have preferred on letter and tree name on each page, and if more description were needed a parent guide page or something with more info about each tree. We are keeping the book though!
My twin toddlers love these books. They can read all the letters of the alphabet in these books and know what the different tree types are. We enjoy the art and story content which is great because the kids want to read this again and again.
This book, like all of Mrs. Peanuckle's books is a joy for kids and adults. We have purchased several and keep the others in rotation from the library.
LOVE her books, have them all. Excellent illustrations and lots to learn!
